My first blog post: I was mistreated :(

Just over a month ago, I was living in a home down south, and the man who was my former owner was not taking good care of me.  He was not feeding me, and not getting me the medical care I needed. Luckily, a member of the community came to his home, and she asked him if he would surrender me and the other dog in the house to her.  Thank goodness he agreed, and she rushed us to the ER vet.  Sadly, the other dog died.  Luckily, I survived, but I was in very rough shape, as you can see from the pictures above. I was so weak that I could not lift my head, and my eyes were very infected.  I needed a lot of medical care.

A wonderful person named Beth 💚 was my guardian angel, and she took wonderful care of me once I was well enough to leave the vet clinic.  And, in a short while, I was much better!  Look at my picture below! Beth reached out to the Blind Dog Rescue Alliance to see if I could go into a BDRA foster home.  And BDRA had a foster home for me!  So Beth brought me up to the Virginia/North Carolina line to hand me to my foster parents.  And she loved me so much that she had tears in her eyes when she said good-bye to me.

And that is where I am now, in my foster home in Virginia, and every day I am doing better and better.  My foster mom is crazy about me!

Keep checking back here for updates. I will be blogging about my life in my Virginia foster home until I find the perfect forever home!

And make sure you check out all my information here:
